If you are looking for a reasonable & safe place to skip the winter this is the place.   The fully out fitted  Cottage  consists of one large bedroom, good sized kitchen and sitting room.  There is a wonderful  Mexican tiled bathroom with large shower.  Outside you will find your own private deck and access to the floral , gardens and swimming pool.   This lovely cottage is situated on the property of a much larger Villa  owned  by a outgoing Canadian.  Everything on the property has been upgraded to North American standards , you certainly will not be roughing it.  The beach is right out  front with the  calm Emerald  Green waters of the Gulf of Mexico  lapping on the sandy beach.   A real plus in this area is that there are no tourist hotels with all the hustle and bustle that they bring and you will also enjoy the company of many English speaking snow bird just enjoying the warm weather and magnificent sun sets.

Progreso is a quiet  safe community just 25 miles North of the Colonial city of Merida.   Transportation is easy as there are lots of flights to Merida via  Houston USA or Mexico City.  Pick up at the airport is also included to start off your hassle  free vacation. You are centrally located to many of the Mayan Ruins and much   more.  Progreso has  all the conveniences you  will require but should you want more Merida has everything you can imagine.
